My second Blog post

 Hi ya'll!

In this second post, I will be talking more in detail about my disability and what it is and how it has affected me throughout my life and in society.

For those that don't know, I have cerebral palsy, which is a disability that affects my legs and my gait in the way I walk. Cerebral palsy is caused by brain damage at birth. The kind of cerebral palsy I got diagnosed with is called,' Spastic Diplegia.' When I was little, I underwent quite a lot of therapies.

I have faced challenges with my disability. Because of my disability, it does take me longer than a neuro typical person to process information. That is something that I've really had to work on, especially with my job since I have to work fast-paced. I do still struggle with it sometimes. However, all my life I have always turned to scripture through all of the challenges. I have always found God's word to be very comforting. My faith has always been such a huge part of my life. I have always been taught to look to scripture through every difficult situation.

" You can do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength." - Philippians 4:13. This has always been my absolute favorite bible verse if not one of them. It is a reminder that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, that through every difficult challenge and obstacle I know that The Lord will get me through everything. I do have a " Faith over Fear" necklace that I also wear almost daily because that is also a great reminder to have faith and to not fear. Life is filled with tough challenges and obstacles, but that is why we have Christ and scriptures to help us not only get through them, but to keep us growing stronger in Christ.

Another great scripture is " For I know The plans I have for you, declares The Lord." " Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.' This piece of scripture reminds me to have hope and trust in Christ to have a plan. I have always known that The Lord has a plan for me and that I would get through whatever obstacles in life that The Lord throws at me. It reminds me that even if my life will have its challenges, to keep clinging onto my faith and The Lord's wing. God has a plan for you.

I hope those scriptures help anyone who reads this. A reminder that The Lord will bring any person through any obstacle and challenge.
